Is there an online site where I can look at plots of land in a city?

I live in Indianapolis, Indiana... and the government plat map system sucks. Is there a free site where I can just check out how plots of land are divided, sizes, shapes, locations and whatnot? I'm not talking about google maps or anything like that, purely legal demarcations. Thanks.
