How do you keep one selfish, arrogant and mean-spirited player from ruining a basketball team?

Oh geez, this is a tough situation to be in. In this case, what I would do is get together with my teammates and talk with everyone on the team except the ballhog, and talk about how to handle the ballhog during the next game. What you could do is tell your teammates not to p the ball to the ballhog ever in the next game and show him how it feels like not to touch the ball. That may teach him. That way your teammates besides the ballhog can get more touches at the ball and have better teamwork. I hate people who excessively hold on to the ball for extended periods of time.
