Christians and Grace - Is it possible to resist the Holy Spirit?

It is possible to resist the draw of the Holy Spirit. When you talk about external call (able to resist) and internal call (not being able to resist) your talking about predestination. Man has free will internally and externally. There is no predestination. God's will is for all men to turn and follow him (being born again).
